Flexi-Iloks
Birchills Automotive Exhaust Products are introducing a range of braided Ilok-flexi connectors / Bellows ideal for use where heat and engine movement is a problem and there is considerable gas noise.
Able to withstand high temperatures the Interlock liner creates an air gap between the liner & bellows improving the cooling of the exhaust gas. The Flex connector prevents twisting caused by wear and tear of the exhaust pipework. The main flex unit is made from stainless steel.
The ends are made of aluminised steel for extra corrosion resistance although as a result of engine heat, corrosion is not an issue.
The Braid reduces noise and disipates heat. Each Flex connector is designed to allow pipework to slip into each end and be welded in position.
